Public Service Announcement:

Soo I'm offically switching accounts.
So yeah, I'll no longer be using this one.
I think I'm still going to keep the pictures and whatnot
up. But everything new will be put on my new account :devautumsxfalling:.

I'm really trying to move forward in my photography
and find my own voice in it since i've just been immating people..
and as I read in English, "Immitation is suicide."

I need to move forward in my craft since I plan
on it being my living when I get older. [yes, I'm only
16... although I will be 17 in 26 days.]
I'm moving into more the music & fashion part of photography.
and I've also been experimenting w/ polariods and film..

1. I was adopted when I was 5 months old
2. I'm dislexic (sp?)
3. I'm painfully obvious
4. My brother is a former drug dealer and missed last christmas cuz he had to
drive down to houston to pick up some crack so he could sell it and one time
had a gun to his head.
5. My favorite color changes from day to day
6. I love it when it's so cold that you can hear a car a mile away
7. I used to skate and had an Adrian Lopez Mystery Deck
8. Deep down I'm afraid of being alone
9. I honestly believe I was supposed to be born in the 60's
10. My Grandmother died on my brithday back in '97
11. I can read a 300 page book in more a little more than 8 hours
12. I wish I had my mom's hair
13. I only wear a dress maybe twice a year [and skirts hardly ever]
14. I've never been kissed
15. My musical guilty pleasure is pop punk
16. I can't sleep well with out some music playing
17. I get freaked out by horror movies after I watch them & when
I'm alone in my house..... but I don't get scared while I'm watching 'em

american, english and german. crazy, eh? lol
26. Despite the fact that I'm a Jr., I've been in my highschool for 5 years and
never failed once.

Vacancy:
OK so I don't have that much time
but long story short [which I'll edit this and
put the whole thing down when I get in journalism]
I feel that i've lost my voice in my photography......
it's kind my fault cuz I've been trying to copy other people's
styles... but yeah I just kinda realized while i was looking at peoples
photography on paperbrigade.com that when you look at my photography, it's
really not that diffrent from anyone else. But yeah, I've decided to start over
and figure out [on my own] how I'm gonna put my voice and personality into my work
weather it'm my drawings or paintings and definately my photography.
Cuz I know for a fact that if I don't my photography will suffer and I'll never
go anywhere as an artist. Cuz lately when I take pictures, they've really just been
snap shots that came out looking decient and that I hadn't really been pushing my self
to get better since I intedned most of my shots to be stock photos that I could
put together later on.

General Life Stuff:

man so about this time every year just about, I need to
excape from here. Texas is just too depressing and unseasonably
hot. I need go some place else... northern OK, or new york [state or city would be nice] or idk just someplace that's not texas ya know?
I mean I love texas, but as a lover of Autumn, it's horrible with
the weather still being in the 80's and 90's and everything still in green.
There's never any color change in the leaves... and the weather toys with
your mind... we'll get a shower or two and for a few days it'll be like 50 or 60 and then shoot back up agian... and yet again, the leaves don't change unless it's
brown and that's only when it's winter it's ridiculuous. I hate it.

In other news, things are getting nuts... mom and dad
are getting the house repainted and also getting some wood flooring
put in the house. There's gonna be constant people comming in and out.

I thought I'd like this year better... but I'm hating school pretty much.
I'm struggleing to stay afloat.... and that'd be why I'm staying home from
church tonight. dang the inventer of homework.


Random Advances
sooo I bought a Poloriod Camera yesterday and I'm excited about
using it. lol I've told my friends for awhile that I want one and about 90% of thier
resonce was "Why the crap do you want that?! it has crapy quality" lol they've
never understood that it's that exact quality that it has that I love. I remember
my grandmother taking pictures of me and my brother w/ one when we were
little and I flippin loved that camera! I was only like 7 when she passed away
and this past summer when my grandfather passed away, I asked if I could have
the camera but no one in my family knew where it was. So I didn't get one.
Then my dad as a 50 year old poloriod camera some where upstairs but he won't let me use it in fear that it may break of old age or some crap like that.

soo now I can have my fun w/ it... i only need to get some film (lets hope
that mom and dad'll buy me some film since I'm B-R-O-K-E! but yeah


Features:
I have a confession to make, I wish I was a vector/graphic design artist... or at least knew how to make 'em. I love vectors/graphic art almost as much as photography.. well actully probably just as much. So with that, here's work from 3 such artist that I admire alot.

General Life Crap:
so I wrote out this long thing yesterday but somehow
it got deleted... so long story short:

-My friend Kerrie moved back to L.A. to Jefferson Parish at 4am in the morning today which has made me wicked sad.
-I got to go shoppin w/ my mom today which made me mucho happy
-Hung out w/ my friend Josh for the 2nd time this weekend which is a 1st in MONTHS so that lifted my spirits a bit
-Tomarrow I get to interview He is Legend,Funeral for a Friend,Steve from Anberlin, and possibly Story of the Year for the Local Indie & Rock Show called Spin 180. [it broadcasts around the country but you can pod cast it if you're out of the country... go to spin180.net]
-My teacher let me Barrow the Rebel again... once again, mucho excited-o
-I still have to get that darn film developed.


TheVintageINDUSTRY Clothing:
sooo things are looking good for my clothing company [the one listed above]

-Clieche Entertainment wants us to send them some sample designs of our
Clothing
-My friend Brandy [who interviews TONS of national bands] told me that if we
give her some shirts, she'll totally wear them during the interviews and get us sponsers
-we got oursleves a spokes person out in Vegas that's gonna go to school for fashion and is also a male model and he's gonna help us out
- ~Moraseth is creating some shirts that we can print off and mass produce... so it's exciteing


... and i gotta learn how to vector.
